Hiya Everyone,
It's with great sadness we're breaking this news but we're making the decision to stop playing as Wolf Girl. It's been a hell of a ride and we just want to take a moment to thank everyone who made this project possible.
We had no idea when we started this band in a garage in 2013 that we would achieve as much as we did. We would not have believed that 6 years later we'd have recorded 2 albums, played over 100 gigs and travelled across the country to play our music. This project has brought so many incredible people into our lives and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us in anyway. We couldn't have done any of this without the support and kindness of the UK DIY scene. Thank you so much to the amazing bands and musicians we've had the honour of playing with to the wonderful promoters who took the time to put us on and to the incredible people who came to our shows and supported our music. We're so incredibly grateful.
Massive thanks to Dave and Su from Everything Sucks for believing in 'Every Now and Then', Trev from Oddbox Records who made 'We Tried' possible, Soft Power records who took a chance on our first EP, Pete Farrugia who let us play awful covers in his garage and learn how to record them, Mark Jasper whose time and passion made 'Every Now and Then' something we're extremely proud of, Emily Majarian for all her beautiful artwork and every person who sang along, danced at the front or bought a record or t-shirt (especially the wonky ones screen-printed in Healey's uni bedroom). You all made this possible and it meant so much to us.
It's been such a privilege to play these silly songs about our anxieties, emotions and self-discoveries to you.
Keep trying, support your local DIY scene and for the love of god start a band!
